The Program

Targeted at senior high/secondary students (Years 9-12), the goal of the HU2BI program is to influence the attitudes and behaviour of young people to reduce their chances of sustaining a brain injury.

Welcome to the hu2bi program materials page. Here you will find the two links to the pages, "resources" and the hu2bi "learning sequence" page.

The link to the word document on the learning sequence page, is a great place for teachers, students and anybody else who is interested in the hu2bi program, to grasp an understanding of what the program involves; (the program has been developed in consultation with the Principal Education Officer Health and Wellbeing and is compliant with Standard 5 of the Health and Wellbeing curriculum.)

The resources page is full of links to articles and documents that are relevant to brain injury and to the hu2bi program. The titles are all linked so you can easily access each of the resources. We hope you find them useful!

 

The hu2bi learning sequence has been developed in consultation with the Prinicpal Education Officer Health and Wellbeing and is compliant with Standard 5 of the Health and Wellbeing curriculum.

In this unit students will participate in the heads up 2 brain injury information session.  Prior to this session students will investigate potential outcomes of high risk behaviours and the impact of certain lifestyle choices to the health and wellbeing of self and others.
