BIAT Identification Card

The Brain Injury Association of Tasmania Inc (BIA) can provide an identification card to people with an acquired brain injury.

The card has a photo of the person on it and details the person's name, address and phone number, their date of birth (optional), areas where the person may experience difficulty/difficulties ie speech, memory etc, and a nominated contact number.

The Identification Card program is run in conjunction with Tasmania Police. The Tasmania Police contact number is included on the card and is usually only rung when the person's nominated contact person cannot be reached.
