BIAT is a member of a coalition of disability advocacy organisations that recently surveyed candidates for the upcoming Legislative Council elections.
Of the 14 candidates contesting the elections 10 responded to 11 questions on a range of issues directly affecting people with disability in Tasmania. All candidates who responded consented to their responses being made public. The questions and candidate’s responses can be found here.
In 2018 the Brain Injury Association of Tasmania partnered with TABIS (Tasmanian Acquired Brain Injury Service) to facilitate a Brain Injury PeerLink Support program for family members and carers of people with brain injury.View Article >
