Peer Support

Our peer support meetings continue in July 2022, the theme for this month is support for carers, including a carers retreat perhaps as soon as September, as well as an open discussion.

Online State-wide Brain Injury Peer Support Group Meeting:

When:  Wednesday, 27 July 2022

Time:  11:00am – 12:30pm

Where:  online via Zoom (you will receive the link to join the meeting once registered)

July Theme:

  1. Introducing our new Community Engagement Officer at BIAT, Doug Cooper
  2. Support for Carers – Guest Speaker: Angela Smith, Care2Serve, Engagement Officer and Carer Coach.
    Angela will be joining us to talk about support available for carers. In partnership with Care2Serve, we are hoping to organise a retreat for family members or friends caring for people with brain injury and would like to hear your ideas.**
  3. Open Discussion

** (For those who attended the face to face sessions, this will be a continued discussion from the previous meeting.)
